SilverAxle

Privacy Policy

Who this applies to

SilverAxle is operations software for auto-transport businesses, a product of Anchor & Spear. When you submit a transport request, your information goes to the specific transport business whose request form you used. That business decides what to do with your request; SilverAxle processes the information on its behalf to run the request, quote and transport workflow. This policy describes how that information is handled.

Information collected through a transport request

Your name and email address; your phone number if you choose to provide one; details about your vehicle (such as year, make and model); pickup and delivery locations and your requested ship date; and basic technical information needed to keep the form secure and working.

How the information is used

To respond to your request and quote, to arrange and carry out the transport you ask for, and to send the operational communications you ask for (for example, email about your quote, and, only if you opt in, text messages described below).

Text messages and mobile information

Text messages are optional. If you check the text-message box on a request form, you agree to receive operational text messages from that transport business: today, a courtesy message when a driver is assigned or reassigned to your vehicle transport, naming the driver and giving the driver's phone number. These are not marketing messages. Message frequency varies based on transport activity, and message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of requesting a quote or purchasing transport.

Consent belongs to one business. Your choice applies to the specific transport business whose form you used. It does not extend to any other business, and a business having your phone number does not mean you have agreed to be texted.

Consent records. When you opt in we keep a record of that choice: the business, your mobile number, the time, and the version of the disclosure you were shown. When you reply STOP or START we record that too. These records are kept so your choices can be honored.

Opting out and getting help. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out; you will stop receiving messages from that business, and the opt-out is recorded. Reply HELP for help; HELP does not change your choice. Reply START to opt in again. You may also contact the transport business directly.

Messaging provider. We use a messaging service provider (Twilio) to deliver text messages. It processes your phone number and the message content only as necessary to deliver the messages and to carry out opt-out requests.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Who else may handle information

Besides the transport business you contacted, the service providers that SilverAxle uses to operate the service (for example hosting, email delivery and the messaging provider above) handle information only to provide their service. Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it.

Business accounts and free trials

What we collect. If you create a SilverAxle workspace for your transport business, we collect your name, email address and business name. To give each business one free trial, we also ask for at least two other details about the business: business phone number, state, street address with ZIP code, USDOT number, or MC number (a USDOT number is not required). We do not keep the phone number, address or registry numbers in readable form. We keep a protected fingerprint of each detail, which lets us recognize the same details again but is not anonymous. We use these details only to apply the one-trial-per-business rule.

How long we keep it. Business-detail fingerprints: up to 24 months from the start of your trial. If we ask you to confirm details, the business name you typed and our notes about it: 12 months after we decide, and then we remove that text. A record that your organization had a trial (dates, event types and short event notes, which can refer to your account): as long as your account exists. Your workspace records (customers, quotes, loads, documents and invoices): while your account is active; when a trial or subscription ends the workspace becomes read-only and we do not delete it automatically. We may keep information longer where the law requires it or for a documented legal hold, and we keep our own billing records as long as we need them for our accounts.

Your choices. To ask what we hold about your business, to correct it, or to have it removed, write to support@anchorandspear.com. We confirm that the request comes from the account and then act on it. Removing the fingerprint record can make your business eligible for a free trial again. Information we remove can remain in our service providers' backups for a limited time.

Who handles it. The services we use to run SilverAxle (database and hosting, payment processing, and email and text delivery) handle information only to provide their service. We do not sell it or use it for advertising. SilverAxle is offered to businesses in the United States. See also the Free Trial Terms and the Service Terms.

Retention and your choices

Transport records are kept by the transport business for as long as it needs them to operate and keep its business records. To ask about, correct or remove your information, contact the transport business you submitted the request to. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.

Security

Information is stored in access-controlled systems and each transport business can see only its own requests. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version. Questions about this policy can be directed to Anchor & Spear at support@anchorandspear.com or through anchorandspear.com. See also our Terms.
